We've seen a number of songs recently about social injustice and the need for change in the world. Songs like 112's For Us, Trey Songz - How Many Times, and Kem's Friend Today. Raheem DeVaughn, Doug e. Fresh, and Darryl DMC McDaniels are expanding to further social issues in their effort to promote wearing masks to prevent COVID-19.

"There's a virus outside
Threatening all of our lives
And we can't let it in"

The song won't replace We Are The World in terms of anthems for global change, but the message is right and it is great seeing artists out there normalizing and legitimizing this important cause. If we want the world to return to normal, it's important to wear masks that will help stop the spread of coronavirus.

If you have been on the fence about it, please do your part and wear a mask. There are tons of options out there from most retailers, or on etsy. You can find ones that express your beliefs and turn the masks into a form of personal expression. At the end of the day, you're making the world a better place by wearing one. Kudos to Raheem DeVaughn and Doug E Fresh for pushing this cause.
