New Video: Trey Songz - How Many Times?

Trey Songz has a video for his song 2020 Riots: How Many Times. The video features a lot of footage from recent Black Lives Matter marches and protests from around the country. It's a touching video showcasing the strong passions of people around the country and the way brotherhood and sisterhood conquers all.

The song invokes the feeling of Kirk Franklin's Lean on Me or Marvin Gaye's What's Goin On. A real soulful sound, with a piano piece playing in the background that sounds so familiar, similar I think to the one in Ludacris Growing Pains. The song is emotional and powerful, showcasing Trey Songz vocal power. When the choir kicks in at the end, it's hard not to want to join in.

The song calls out the frustration of how this seems to play on over and over again. Trey Songz asks on the track "How many more marches? How many more signs? How many more lives? How many more times?"
