After the usual intro, the album gets underway with "Feels So Good." The track has some nice vocals, but is fairly disappointing. The chorus grows repetitive at the end and really, do you need to hear Jermaine Dupri? It's annoying to hear him say "This is for those that like to pop the trunk" FOUR times in a row. These ladies can sing JD, let them work it. Overall, an average song.
"Hard To Say Goodbye" is a nice number, bringing several of the girls to the mic. It's a short number but it's probably better to go short than to drag it out with excessive filler like the last track. Overall, an enjoyable song about when you were together with a loved one.
I was afraid at first by the fact that the fourth track "Can't Hang" had a rapper on it as this usually spells disaster for R&B tracks. Yet it works well here, and the song comes across okay. The track is about a guy who the girl believes is all talk. The thing that disappoints me with the girls is that, while they've got nice voices, they never really SING. I need to see more emotion from these girls.
The girls remake of "Who Can I Run To?" is a solid number that really shows off the girls voices. The lyrics are nice and you get to hear several of the girls on this number, bringing out a bit of variety. A well made track.
The song of the album is track 7, "Do You Want To." The lyrics on this track are romantic and truly loving. Meanwhile, LaTocha really puts some umph into her vocals and Tiny does a nice job as well. The only thing I can complain about here is, the chorus near the end of the track might need a little more enthusiasm, but overall, a great number.
"What Can I Do" is a nice number with an interesting beat. The lyrics are interesting, albeit the song is short. The verses aren't very long and there's only two of them. But what's there on this track is solid.
The ninth track on the album, "Do Like Lovers Do" is a solid slow jam. The girls are crooning for a lover to come on over and "do like lovers do." The lyrics are nice and LaTocha really shines. A nice jam to lay back to.
"Work Me Slow" has some of Kandi's best vocals on the album. Her voice does real well on this number as she pleads for a lover to make love to her right. The one thing tiring with this number is that the message is almost identical to the previous track, a message that's getting a little repetitive on the album. Nevertheless, this is one of the better sexual numbers.
Nearing the end of the album, "Love's A Funny Thing" is a great number featuring several of the girls on solos. The track is about the man the girls love and how he seems to constantly cheat on them. Overall, a pretty solid jam with nice harmonies and solid vocals.
The final track on the album seems like a filler track, with two short verses and an overdependence on the chorus. The song isn't that bad, but being so short, it doesn't do much to distinguish itself well either.
