New Album: Raheem DeVaughn - What a Time to Be in Love

Raheem DeVaughn released a new album, What a Time to Be in Love, on Friday, November 20th. And that title sums up the world perfectly. It's a crazy time to be in love, but it's a great time for R&B music with so many solid albums coming out.

The new album from Raheem DeVaughn follows up on the earlier single for the album, Marvin Used to Say. That track was a timely first single, hitting on the crazy politics of today while featuring the music of Marvin Gaye's What's Goin On.

Unrelated to the album, DeVaughn had a recent track that also hit on the current health crisis with Behind the Mask. A collaboration with Doug E. Fresh, it was a catchy track to encourage people to wear masks during the pandemic.

For the new album, What a Time to Be in Love, Raheem DeVaughn worked exclusively with The Colleagues. The album features 12 new tracks, along with an intro and interlude. It should be available on all streaming services and most media outlets for purchase.
