Song of the Week: No Question - I Don't Care

When it comes to R&B quartets, especially those from Philadelphia, you always think of Boyz II Men. But the men of No Question showed that there is plenty of room for other talented groups as their self-titled debut was filled with solid tracks.

The track we wanted to focus on this week was No Question's I Don't Care, the group's biggest hit. The song reached #24 on the R&B charts, and has a catchy hook that will get you humming along to it quickly. The thing that amazes me the most when listening to this track is how much the men of No Question sound like Dru Hill. The first few times I listened to the song, I had to double check to make sure this wasn't by them.

The group only put out the one album, though they did briefly reunite in 2007. Unfortunately, one of their members, Damon Core has since passed away at the age of 40.

We had the chance in 2009 to interview one of the members of the group. Nick J of No Question spoke with a member of the site about the group's origins and early inspirations. Check it out, and listen to the track below to see what you think of the group. We've also included live footage of the song performed on BET which includes an interview with the group.
