New Music: JoJo Hailey (of K-Ci & JoJo) - In My Arms

Christmas is here and what better way to celebrate it than a new song from JoJo Hailey. Attempting to showcase what he can do on his own away from Jodeci or K-Ci & JoJo, he has put out a new track titled "In My Arms."

This is the second track from JoJo that we've featured this year, with his previous Special being featured here several months ago. Not to be outdone, his brother K-Ci Hailey also released his own music in recent months, with the song Jesus Saves.

In My Arms is a fairly standard fare message-wise for an R&B song. JoJo reflects upon when he was in a relationship with his true love, and wonders if she'll ever be in his arms again. It's a touching song, if a bit unoriginal in its lyrics.

So how is the delivery? Eh... I just haven't been able to get behind JoJo as a solo artist, and not part of K-Ci and JoJo. I just don't think he sounds that good here, and it gets feeling a bit monotonous without K-Ci jumping in to spice it up. It just isn't that pleasant to listen to.
