Vertical Hold
Vertical Hold came out in the early 1990s and was comprised of Angie Stone, Willie Bruno II and David Bright. Signed to A&M Records, the group performed under Herb Albert.
In 1993, the group released their first effort, Matter Of Time. The album featured the hit single 'Seems You're Much Too Busy' and had a smaller hit with 'A.S.A.P.'
The group's second album, Head First came out in 1995. It featured the single 'Love Today' which reached #49 on the R&B charts. Following the group's second album, they went their separate ways with Angie Stone earning some success in a solo career.
