New Music: Toni Braxton - Dance

Toni Braxton has released a new single, titled Dance. Dance is the latest track that will be featured on her upcoming album Spell My Name, which is slated for release on August 28th.

Dance is a fun song, featuring a 70s disco vibe. The underlying beat almost reminds me of Queen's Another One Bites the Dust. It is simple lyrically as it's about getting over heartbreak and letting your feelings out on the dance floor. However, the tempo is great and you'll feel yourself moving as you listen.

The bridge features the lyrics:

I don't give a damn
I just wanna dance so go away
I don't really care
I just wanna dance so go away

The song was produced by Antonio Dixon, who has had a lot of success with other big artists like Beyonce and Ariana Grande.

Interestingly, a different version of Dance has been floating around for a while, as she released a remix of the song in the UK. The version there, produced by Dave Aude is much more electronic music compared to Antonio Dixon's version.

Check out the song below, and be sure to pick up the album when it releases later this month.
