New Music: Jam/Lewis/Babyface - He Don't Know Nothin Bout It

2020 has been a depressing year with all the crazyness going on in the world. Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, and Babyface are pretty much the only thing I could think of that could help bring order into this world. And they're coming together to do just that for us, releasing a collaboration titled "He Don't Know Nothin Bout It."

The track is the first taste of the upcoming album by Jam and Lewis, slated for release next year and titled Jam & Lewis Vol 1. The two signed to BMG as an artist in October and joke about the strangeness of them releasing a debut album after all these years. The men had put out music as part of The Time and of course have had tremendous success over the years producing for various artists albums.

On this first track, the guys partnered up with a true legend, Babyface. Babyface runs the vocals on this track and it sounds like classic Babyface. "What you go through, he ain't got a clue, bout what love means to you." The track is all about how the man a woman is with isn't treating her right and she needs a man who will be able to take care of her right.

Lyrics and production wise, the track fits right in with their catalogues. It's a great song to listen to and will have you crooning along with it. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing them try and tackle some more modern styles, but lets be honest... our site is all about 90s R&B and this is that classic sound we're dying to hear.
