Faith Evans has had a storied career, and she keeps putting out music. Today, we've got a collaboration between her and Gwen Bunn called "Between the Lines."

The lyrics are pretty repetitive in the track, but it has a soulful vibe to it. The song is about understanding a person so well, you know everything they're feeling even when you're apart.

Overall, the song doesn't do much for me. Gwen Bunn's voice sounds too overly stylized to me, and Faith Evans is barely even a footnote on the track. You got a legend like Faith Evans coming on to work with you and all you can do is have her put in some background sound? C'monnnn.

I'm not too familiar with Gwen Bunn's work, but if you like her, this is great to see. She's certainly holding promise if she has Faith Evans providing support for her. Not my cup of tea, but maybe she'll sway you.
