Brandy and Monica go head to head on Verzuz

Verzuz battles have been a great opportunity to see similar artists in R&B and hip-hop face off. The two artists get together and have a fun night playing through their careers and sharing their music experience with fans. We've had some great shows thus far, with Babyface and Teddy Riley, Jagged Edge and 112, John Legend and Alicia Keys, and Erykah Badu and Jill Scott all taking their turns in the ring.

But one iconic matchup had been missing. The two women who felt like they had a rich rivalry all the way back since their starts in the 90s. Monica. Brandy. Monica and Brandy's rivalry was capitalized on with the great song The Boy Is Mine which showed the two women facing off over a man. And now we will have it, as they have agreed to a Verzuz.
