R&B Haven Celebrates Three Year Anniversary, One Millionth V

And so, where do things go from here? Here's a look at what we've got planned for the next year at R&B Haven.

More artists

I still get emails on a regular basis from users who feel I'm missing great 90s R&B artists. The work never seems to be done on that front and so, I'll slowly be adding in these further artists.

Updated artists

Most profiles on the site were made in 2006 and so, are noticeably dated. I'm hoping over the next few weeks to go artist by artist and update all of our information.

Lyrics with search

We've more than doubled our music lyrics offerings on the site lately (albeit, with reduced quality). We're looking to have a near complete lyrics section with the ability to search by the end of the year, thereby cutting down the amount of posts in the forum about songs.

Artists of today/80s

A goal the site had at one point was to expand its content to include modern R&B as well as the 1980s. The task proved too tremendous, but it's not one we have forgotten. As time allows, we're going to resume this task and try and make R&B Haven the definitive site for all eras.

News Coverage (soul of rnb) expanded

We've recently incorporated Soul Of R&B into the R&B Haven family, featuring news posts to keep you updated on everything R&B as it happens. We will hopefully be expanding the news features to include full news on R&B Haven.

More giveaways

We've recently done partnerships with concert venues in Atlanta to give away tickets to shows. I'm hoping to use this as a jump off to start doing more promotions with artists that will end up with more free stuff for you guys.

In the end, R&B Haven has come a long way over the last three years. Where it goes from here is largely up to you guys as you shape the direction of R&B Haven's future. Thanks for visiting the site!
