Uncle Sam

Sam 'Uncle Sam' Turner is best known for signing a contract with Stonecreek Records, the label owned by Boyz II Men in the mid 1990s.

His album, the self-titled Uncle Sam was released in 1997. It is heavily laced with production by the group Boyz II Men and they are featured on many of its tracks. The single, 'I Don't Ever Want To See You Again' did very well, reaching #6 on the Hot 100 and #2 on the R&B charts when it came out in 1998. The single was popular enough to go platinum and helped drive the album to gold status.
