Trin-I-Tee 5:7
Trin-I-Tee 5:7 was started as an R&B trio in 1997, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The group was made up of Angel Taylor, Chanelle Hayes, and Terri Brown.
The group was signed to GospoCentric Records, as the label owner envisioned the group following Kirk Franklin's footsteps onto the urban charts. The group was given their name, Trin-I-Tee 5:7 based on the biblical scripture, John 5:7, which refers to the Trinity.
During the 1990s, the group released two albums. In 1998, they released their self-titled debut album and in 1999, they followed it up with their sophomore effort, Spiritual Love. The group's debut, Trin-I-Tee 5:7 went gold.
Brown left the group after their second album, and was replaced by Adrian Anderson, the group's makeup artist. With the new line, the group released the album The Kiss in 2002. In 2007, they released the album T57 which featured the single "Listen" which reached #89 on the Hot R&B songs chart.
