Total was an R&B trio comprised of members JaKima Raynor, Keisha Spivey and Pamela Long. The group was a part of Sean 'Puffy' Combs Bad Boy Records.

The groups first work together was backing Notorious B.I.G. They sing the chorus to B.I.G.'s debut single 'Juicy' as well as his hit 'One More Chance.'

Following their work with B.I.G., Comb's began to work with the girls on their debut album. Their first single, 'Can't You See' was from New Jersey Drive and featured Notorious B.I.G. It reached #3 on the R&B charts and #13 on the Hot 100, going gold in the process.

After their hit single, the girls released their self-titled debut album which went platinum. It had several hit singles including 'No One Else,' 'Kissin' You' and 'What About Us.' All three singles went gold and made it into the top ten on the R&B charts. 'Kissin' You' made it to #12 on the Hot 100.

The girls released their second album, Kima, Keisha and Pam in 1998 and it eventually went gold. The album featured the hit single 'Trippin' which went gold and reached #7 on the Hot 100. The album's second single 'Sitting Home' reachde #10 on the R&B charts.

Rumor has it that the girls have added a new member to the group and are working on a new album. No details have surfaced on the matter yet.
