Reel Tight

Reel Tight

The urban quartet Reel Tight was comprised of Danny Johnson, Bobby Kane, Reggie Long, and Bobby Rice. The group came out of Chattanooga, Tennessee and were proteges of the rapper Warren G. The group was signed to his G-Funk label.

In 1999, Reel Tight released their debut album, Back to the Real. The album charted two singles, 'Do You Wanna Ride' and 'I Want U.' The singles performed moderately on the R&B charts placing at #32 and #38 respectively. 'Do You Wanna Ride' also made an appearance on the Hot 100, reaching #80. Neither single did well enough to warrant a second album from the group.
