Profyle
Profyle first appeared in the R&B world in 1999 when they released their debut album Whispers in the Dark. The quartet is comprised of a pair of brothers and cousins originally from Shrevport, La. Inspired by the success of groups like Boyz II Men, they began performing locally and attracted the attention of future manager Musa Moore.
Moore passed the group's demo tape on and eventually the group was offered a record contract with Motown Records. As mentioned earlier, they released their first cd in 1999 which did well enough to allow the group to put out a second album in 2000. The album titled Nothin' but Drama, was the group's last effort at Motown.
Recently, the group has released a self titled album.
