Omarion

Omari Ishamel Grandberry, known as Omarion, was born in 1984. He was the lead singer for the hit group B2K until he went solo in 2005.

In 2005, Omarion released his debut album, O. The album had two hit singles with "Touch" reaching #35 on the R&B charts, and the title track, "O," reaching #27 on the Hot 100 and going gold. The album's third single, "I'm Tryna," failed to do as well, peaking at #53 on the R&B charts, but the album still went gold.

2006 saw the release of Omarion's sophomore effort, 21. The album scored a gold single with "Ice Box" which reached #12 on the Hot 100 and #5 on the R&B charts. The album's other single, "Entourage," reached #25 on the R&B charts.

Omarion's most recent effort was Face Off, a collaborative album with Bow Wow. The album has gone gold.

In addition to Omarion's musical career, he has had some success as an actor. In 2004, he appeared in You Got Served, alongside Marques Houston and the rest of B2K. That same year, he was in Fat Albert. Since then, he has appeared in Somebody Help Me, and Feel The Noise.
