Nu Flavor

Nu Flavor

Nu Flavor formed in Long Beach, California and is comprised of Jacob Ceinceros, Anthony Dacosta, Rico Luna and Frank Pangelinan. The group was signed by Reprise after the label's president Howie Klien heard the group perform Journey's 'Open Arms.'

In 1997, the group released their first album, the self-titled Nu Flavor. The album featured the mildly successful singles, 'Heaven' which reached #27 on the Hot 100 and 'Sweet Sexy Thing' which hit #62.

The album did well enough to warrant a follow-up and in 1999, the group released their second album, It's On. The album only had one single that charted, '3 Little Words.' The track reached #89 on the Hot 100.
