Link

Soul musician Link was born in Dallas, Texas where he was active in a cappella groups as a teenager. He was recruited by Darrell Allamby for the group Protege and continued to work with him, even after the group split up.

Working with Allamby, Link wrote several songs, including 'My Body,' the hit single by LSG. After the success of his writing, Link was signed by Relativity Records. In 1998, he released his album Sex Down. The album performed moderately, with the single 'Whatcha Gone Do?' reaching #15 on the R&B charts and #23 on the Hot 100.

Over the course of his career, Link has also written for Silk, Kut Klose, Gerald Levert and Johnny Gill. In 2004 he released a second album, 15 Minutes.
