Damian

Bruce Edward 'Damian' Broadus was born in 1966 in Marshall, Michigan. Damian had a rich musical background, teaching himself piano, drums and guitar. By the age of sixteen, Damian was playing in clubs.

During the 1980s, Damian was in the group ShyBoy. He was the male half of Damian Dame, the first group signed to LaFace records, and did a great deal of production.

When Dame died in 1994, Damian produced and released the solo album Damian 199sex. The album was released in 1996, only a few days before Damian died.
