Coming Of Age
Coming of Age was an R&B quintet that came out in 1993 with their self-titled debut album. The album brought the group some recognition as their single, 'Coming Home To Love' reached #27 on the R&B charts. The album's second single, 'Baby Be Still' reached #63 on the R&B charts.
When Coming Of Age came back again in 1995 with their second album, Comin' Correct, they weren't able to regain their past success. Down a member to a quartet, the group failed to score a successful single and went their separate ways after the album's release.
The most prominent member of the group was Terrance Quaites. Quaites went on to become the hip-hop singer TQ and scored a hit on the Hot 100 with his single 'Westside' on his album They Never Saw Me Comin' in 1999.
