Another Bad Creation
The preteen group Another Bad Creation was formed by Michael Bivins of New Edition and Bell Biv Devoe. The group formed out of Atlanta, Georgia and comprised of members Chris Sellers, Dave Shelton, Romell Chapman, Marliss Pugh and his brother Demetrius Pugh. Signed to Motown in 1991, the group was managed by Bivins.
Their first album Coolin' At The Playground Ya Know released in 1991. Its singles 'Iesha' and 'Playground' both did well on the charts. 'Playground' made it to #4 on the R&B charts and #10 on the Hot 100. 'Iesha' reached #9 on the Hot 100 and #6 on the R&B charts, going gold in the process. The album, with two popular singles, went platinum.
In 1993, the group released their second album, It Ain't What You Wear, It's How You Play It. The first single, 'I Don't Wanna Be Grown Up' did not perform incredibly well. After one last hurrah on Robert Townsend's superhero comedy, The Meteor Man, the group disappeared from the scenes.
In 2006, the group returned with only four members. They released an album called Grady Baby Compilation which failed to do well.
