3T

The group 3T was made up of Toriano Adaryll 'Taj' Jackson, Jr. (1973), Taryll Adren Jackson (1975) and Tito Joe 'T.J.' Jackson (1978). The three brothers were sons of Tito Jackson and Delores Jackson and were nephews of Michael Jackson.

Forming in the early 1990s, the group was initially known as 'the three T's,' the name their mother would refer to them by. Having sharpened their skills on piano, guitar, drums, and bass, the group impressed their uncle, Michael, and were signed to his label MJJ Music.

Michael gave the group immense creative freedom and they wrote 8 of the 12 songs on their first album Brotherhood. Released in 1995, the album had strong worldwide sales, selling over 1 million copies in Europe. While the group did not make a strong impression in the United States, they had four Top Five hits in the U.K. In the U.S., the group's most notable single was 'Anything' which reached #15 on the Hot 100 and went gold. The group dedicated their album to their mother who was murdered after refusing to cover her boyfriend's $2 million in debt.

The group produced songs for the films Free Willy, Men In Black and Free Willy 2 over the next few years. In 2004, they released their second album Identity.

In late 2005, it was announced that the group would appear in a reality show as they tried to resurrect their career. However, this never took place.

Taryll Jackson announced in 2007 that he was working on a solo project.
