Top 10 K-Ci & JoJo Songs

K-Ci & JoJo seemed to score a big hit on each of their albums that helped drive its sales. Yet the group features so much depth, with each album featuring far more than just one good track. Here's a list of what I consider their ten best jams.

• 1. All My Life - Love Always

  A beautiful violin opening gets the group's biggest hit off on the right note. The song is very laid back and just beautiful. While the lyrics are simple, it's still a great love song and one that every dance should feature as a slow song.

• 2. How Could You - Love Always

  While All My Life is beautiful, How Could You is powerful with its strong, compelling lyrics detailing the pain of someone leaving you. The song is great and the track really describes the pain of a relationship falling apart.

• 3. Suicide - X

  Suicide continues the strong delivery of All My Life and How Could You but packs it into the tragedy of death. With beautiful lines like "If I die you know I'll still look over you," the track weaves a tale that details departure and the effects of one's choices. A great song, albeit the chorus could use a little more work which is why it falls at number 3.

• 4. Life - It's Real

  The song has a soulful feel as it weaves a story about a man who tried to get his family into a better position and found himself in jail. It's one of the few times I enjoy K-Ci's voice as he really fits well with the feel of the track.

• 5. Still Waiting - Love Always

  The back and forth vocals are incredible and give the song a great feel. Sure the song gets bogged down at the end but if you stop the song after about 3 minutes it's one of the best songs out there. DeVante can work some magic.

• 6. Down For Life - Emotional

  Albeit sappy, Down For Life is a nice soft song that is really touching. It pushes out all of the voice mods from It's Real and goes for pure sensitivity. A nice smooth number that's nice to just relax to.

• 7. Fee Fie Foe Fum - It's Real

  Weaving a story, the track accuses a lover of cheating and lays out all the evidence. The song is fierce in its accusations and lays it out nicely with some great lyrics.

• 8. Makin Me Say Goodbye - It's Real

  Nice vocals, the song has good execution and allows the duo to shin with their vocals. The only thing that drives me nuts about this song is the way the beat bounces between your ears on headphones, causing it to make me dizzy.

• 9. How Long Must I Cry - It's Real

  A nice song with a good message and solid lyrics. The song has a good flow and gets you singing along with it. The only real flaw to it is the heavily modified vocals which, while sounding cool, don't really bring out K-Ci & Jojo's best.

• 10. All The Things I Should've Known - X

  A loving song with a nice soft sound, the track is about all the things you could've done better in a relationship. K-Ci's outbursts are contained and the track has some great lyrics.
