10 Best 90s R&B Male Vocal Groupsby JohnnyAwesome24These are the ten best male vocal groups, as considered by JohnnyAwesome - 1. Silk
They have a front man with an amazingly powerful voice and have never put out anything less than good. Vastly underrated group who were the victims of having a song that became bigger than the group. Their first three albums are AMAZING. - 2. Boyz II Men
By far the best vocally. These guys made it possible for 90's R&B to happen. Granted NE influenced them, but we wouldn't have this site without Boyz II Men. They have two classic albums and some decent stuff after that. They would have been number one had it not been for all of the covers and a bad album or two later on in their careers. - 3. 112
These guys get way too much hate on this site. With the exception of "Hot N Wet", they have come out with awesome albums. Don't let the fact that Puff discovered them blind you. - 4. Jodeci
They changed the game with their swagger and style. Not great vocally, but their songs are well produced. Plus, who doesn't love a good crack head? - 5. UNV
These guys I am sure would be higher if they came out with more albums. "So In Love With You" is my favorite song of the 90's. - 6. Dru Hill
They have great songs. Granted they are a total Jodeci knock off, but they had solid out put for 2 albums. - 7. After 7
Just good songs overall. "Till You Do Me Right" is classic. I must say, Guru's man crush on Kevon is a bit weird though lol. - 8. Intro
Kenny Greene was a great vocalist and they came out with nothing but fire. - 9. Blackstreet
They barely made it but I decided to add them as I enjoy their songs. - 10. A Few Good Men
"Have I Never" is amazing. They didn't have a large quantity of albums, but they were solid.
