Moofu 2009-11-12 21:22:51 Total Posts: 725 | Heard it, it was okay. The instrumentals and production are pretty well done, giving some "classics" a more updated sound. "Could It Be I'm Falling In Love" is given a more lively sound than the original. However, this isn't enough to make the album work. The song choices were a little strange for me. Some songs are good songs but BIIM kinda ruin them. For example, "If You Love Me Now" is a good song but BIIM can't do it justice. Also, "When I Fall In Love" just felt really boring. However, my main problem is that there have been so many cover albums by sooo many R&B artists that it just seems silly to keep doing them. Artists need to do something DIFFERENT in order to make the song work. The only song I enjoyed more than the original was "I Can't Make You Love Me". Like they say "If ain't broken, why fix it?". | |||

I mean everyone that has been releasing new albums have been kinda crappy (brian mcknight) so this one is quite decent to me lol. | |||

I'm with RxJDang....I'm still buying the album because its the right thing to do. Since they don't have the unreleased stuff for sale, we have to get it how we get it (lol). By the way, the will be in Hammond, LA in May 21, 2010 if anyone of you will be in the area. $95 VIP tickets with dinner and reception with BIIM. | |||
