So lately I've been spending alot of time listening to albums from alot of relatively unknown and obscure artist and these guys caught my eye (or my ear I guess I should say). I happen to see their album at a 2nd hand CD shop so I bought it and I have to say I"m pleasantly surprised. These guys could SANG and their album is the ****. Only 1 song (out of 12) that I dont like but other than that, its pure mid 90's greatness. I reccommend it to anyone.

Some other groups I'm feelin are Mind Heart and Soul, Me-2-U and Front Page

haha yea, it's amazing how many 90s R&B guy groups there were. A lot of them were derivative but they put out tons of great material.

I could probably make a 400+ song playlist of all my favorite songs by 90s R&B guy groups.. I will check out more of IV Xample though :)

You are right Guru that's why if you listen very carefully it's a lot of producers stealing that sound in their beats.

Oh man, those guys were pretty good!
I remember everyone back then knew them for their one hit "I'd Rather Be Alone", but I loved them for the song that I seen them perform on the show All That called "From The FOol" A couple years back, I remember I downloaded another song by them.. something about Emotions.. that was a good one too!

I confess though, I'd always get ix xample & joose mixed up.

I watch these shows like All That and Sister, Sister back in the day, and they always had such amazing guest performers on it. It's not fair lol.

"From The Fool" is my favorite song by them and I just realized yesterday that they have a video for it (thanks to youtube). Never seen any live footage though.

Boyz 2 men blows them to shame. But their voices were decent.

Aye, but still, the beauty of music is it doesn't have to be an A or B. Boyz II Men were some of the greats, btu there's still plenty of room for middle of the road good acts.

Hell, today, they'd be the best in the business.

By miles..... and Ilikeit, if Boyz keeps on the road that they are on, they are going to ruin themselves to me. I miss Mike so much, not exactly sure why. I don't care if he is in an effing wheel chair, bring him back!

I just learned that one of the lead singers (BC) has a solo album. DLing as we speak.

Also, the group plans to come back with another album in 2010

Havok, where do you find such things?
I had a hard time just finding those two songs in mp3... which are called An Angel & Candyman

I read about the reunion on youtube, not sure if it is true. Maybe Havok has a more reliable source.
