Can someone tell me what is up with Donell Jones? Why is he so underrated? I'm listening to one of his songs "lust or love" from his recent album and I love that song so much. He has such a great voice and is such a great writer.

He had a drinking problem and went into rehab, last I heard. But he had planned to get back in the studio but you know how these record labels are.

You kidding right, I didn't know Donell Jones had a drinking problem. That just doesn't seem like him.

Yeah he's recovering....he was a recovering bad alcoholic. (not too serious though)..but yeah, he should be dropping something by next year or so, i hope. He always waits 3-4 years in between albums.

Journey of A Gemini is a great album but the REAL gems on there are "Portrait of A Woman" "Cant Wait" "My Apology" and "Spend the Night"...And if you have the bonus cuts, don't sleep on "Apple Pie" either.

He is great enough to be remembered. And that's all an artist can ask for. LOL

He isn't going to be remembered 20 years down the line. FACT.

Donell who?

For real, Johnny's right. Donell hardly gets any recognition while around, let alone when he's gone. The hardcore will remember, but few else.

yea, but who cant agree that Where I wanna Be is classic, and the rest of his material is solid.

Milli Vanilli are remembered 20 years later and they were far from great.
