I'm going to be straight with you guys, I bought Jersey Ave and 3rd Storees albums completely on the faith of the songs "I'll Wait Right Here" and "I'm Sorry."

Well, that was a terrible idea.

Jersey Ave's album is alright, with a few solid songs that are similar in style to "I'll wait Right here."

But 3rd Storee? Now, I'm only 8 songs in but I listened to the album and was like WTF. "I'm Sorry" is the ONLY mildly slow song on the album. Every other track is like Timbaland/Rodney Jerkins style production with songs like "I'm a supa star, riding in my fancy car" with pounding beats and almost rap-esque delivery.

Now normally, I'd be fine with that, but I was at least expecting some kind of split, not a 1/12 split between harmonizing ballads and thuggin jams.

Has anyone else listened to this album?

haha, let me know what you think. I def don't recommend a buy on them unless you find em real cheap.

Drop N Harmony is next on my playlist for work, so they better not disappoint me too :)

Good luck trying to find the album, I "had" a cd called "Serenade volume 1" with a bunch of other up and rising asian artists, but stupid me.. lend it to a friend, she never returned it since. =/

But you know, I think the songs that you probably heard from imeem, are the best ones on the album anyway.

Hrm? I have the album. I bought it on Amazon for like 3$...

You just have to buy it "new" at http://www.amazon.com/Drop-N-Harmony/dp/B0001EMKOO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1251837207&sr=8-1

I can post copies of the version I got when I ordered from there if you're interested in seeing what it looks like.

I have a feeling you're right about the other tracks judging by their names but still, the songs on imeem are awesome so I'm okay with it :)

Ayo Boy,

Glad to have you join the site. The asian groups are tight though they seem to teeter between pop and R&B.

I listened to the full Drop N Harmony album yesterday. The songs online are definitely the best though there are one or two others that were a great listen.

Overall, none of the three albums I bought were classics but they were still enjoyable.
