I was just curious to know is there anyone in here that listens to rap at all? I know I used to listen to it like crazy back in the 90's. That is when they had all the good rap artists and they weren't just singing about women and bling bling they had a story to tell and was being real. I hardly ever lisen to today's rap. There are a few rap songs of today that I like, but I don't listen to it.

Haha, I'm slowly getting into it again as I get tired of R&B artists. I really like T.I.'s material, or at lesat what I've heard of it.

His new song with John Legend was tight.

I've said this before, but there was a point in time when 99% of what I listend to was rap, but not that trash on the radio. After a while I kinda grew bored with it and started listening to a ton of R&B albums and realized that I liked it alot better.

I don't really bother with Rap anymore unless it's Jay-Z and maybe Nas.

I do like Fabolous' latest album though.

I agree Buddha Jay-Z and Nas is still holding on and I like them they are real. Fabolous he is alright. I like rappers like LL Cool J, DMx, T.I (he is pretty good), Ja Rule (he isn't that bad only when he tries to sing and act like 2Pac), 2Pac, Biggie, Ludacris is alright, Nelly, Common, and that is about it.

I do....but not all this new wack stuff like young jeezy, drake, lil wayne gucci man, 50 cent etc. none of that trash.

I listen to sh1t like: nas, the roots, the lox, krs one, gang starr, atcq, ghosface/wu, az, BIG, talib, scarface, ice cube etc.

And yes, just like Havok said, I used to lListen hiphop like 80% of the time...now, that has went down drastically.

the more i get older though, i listen to less hiphop than i used to.

@ Buddha

The New fab album aint nothing special, same old girly songs, features on just about every track. Dude will never make a classic or even a solid album. If it wasnt for the last couple tracks like 'Lullaby' Loso's Way would of been pure wack juice.
