I would say 2001 was pretty good because you had Alicia Keys coming out, Aaliyah was doing her 3rd album, then Musiq Soulchild came out on the scene as well as Jill Scott, and India Arie. 2004 was pretty good for R&B music as well because Ruben Studdard was coming out, Fantasia, John Legened released his first album, Usher "CONFESSIONS" album became a huge hit. Also Keyshia Cole came out in 2004 with "I've changed my mind" and "I just want it to be over". | |||
