Ne-Yo recently did an interview in which he talked about how image plays into the R&B industry. He says it's too bad, but if you're a girl, you're going to have to lose weight and look good if you want to do well. He said this isn't the case if you win Oscars and fame first (Jennifer Hudson) or if you're neo-soul (Jill Scott), but otherwise, it's the TROOF.
