I've been working an artist " Kimberley Longstreth" she has an amazing voice! She mainly has been singing jazz for most of her career, but I have this crazy idea that she will sound amazing singing R&B/Soul. She thinks I'm crazy and I think I'm not. Could you all take a listen to her songs at http://www.kimberleylongstreth.com or click on to listen to or buy her CD: let me know what you all think. Thanks in advance for the feedback. Kind Regards, JP J Pad Music http://www.jpadmsusic.com

R&B Guru 2009-06-30 07:42:05 Total Posts: 2527 | Yea but every now and then, a decent REAL r&b record sells some copies. If you want any mainstream recognition, you just can't do jazz.
shorty85 2009-06-30 08:02:35 Total Posts: 57 | music is made for the people. I guess there just aren't enough jazz lovers around as apposed to other music genres such as rnb for example. But with that said, take a look at Duffy... she's an amazing artist and is quite popular with listeners. If the industry continues to produce more artists like her, well, jazz may become popular again, just as it once was.
