It got me thinking, what are some of your favorite foreign language tracks? For me it's gotta be: Boyz II Men's A Mi Me Va Bien Frankie J's Obsesion Frankie J's Don't Wanna Try Hrmmm maybe a few Japanese tracks but none that are jumping out at me immediately. d0rk 2009-04-29 19:20:55 Total Posts: 359	The funny thing about foreign language r&b or any genre is that it sounds nice when they sing it in their language, but when you find a translation for it, certain times it makes you go WTF cuz some of their metaphors are whack and other times they sang it beautifully. With that said, here are some of mines, each with the video & the english translations in them Gotta agree with you Guru, Frankie J's Obsession is my top, only cuz this dude is underrated and I just loveee more than half his songs. Leslie ft Bobby Valentino - Accorde Moi This is another one of my favorites, I remember when I first heard it back in 2007, it took me 4 listens to FINALLY knew she was speaking in a different language. Some Foreign songs I like are: Jon B. - "Ti amor" (from the Cool Relax CD) Frankie J- "No es armor" (obsession) Selena- (I can't think of the name of those songs in the movie SELENA, but I like most of those that were sung in the movie) Veronica- "Me Hace Feliz" or "inspired me" (she did both an english and spanish version) Christina Aguleria had some songs I liked that she recorded in Spanish. @ R&B Guru thats cool that you like Frankie J, I didn't think many people like him or knew who he was.
