Immature/Imx vs. other boy bands
lpc26 2009-04-15 19:55:55 Total Posts: 732	Ok I was thinking about this today and I was wonder why is that Immature/IMx was able to make it so big in the 90's and over in some of the 2000 era, but no other boy bands could? I wonder is it because Chris Strokes took his time and wrote good music for them or maybe Immature was just hot with the girls. Here are some groups I thought would have success like Immature: 1. B2k 2. Imajin - They were hot for a little while in the 90's. 3. Mista- I didn't think they would get to far, but I thought they would at least have up to 3 albums. 4. 3rd Storee 5. ATL 6. Brutha- I'm hoping they would make it big. You have to remember they grew up in front of us. And at that time if you didn't go platinum you didn't get dropped front your label. Most of the record labels are all about greed so they never think about developing the group, so if they don't sell they stick around very long to grow their sound and find themselves. That is a great post. I've never thought about but if I had to guess I would say Immature took their time and found their sound. You have to remember they grew up in front of us. Soul For Real is a good group I expected them to go far to. "Candy rain" was such a big hit. Honestly, as a boy band, they really didn't make much impact and in fact, I don't their album ever even was released (The one with If Ever on it).
