Hello, i'm getting married in june and my Fiance and I are going to choreograph a bollywood/rnb/hiphop medley for the reception (yes we're indian and proud of it). My fiance is into the new school stuff but i'm a diehard ol skool rnb guy.

I need suggestions as to the best ol skool rnb song to put into our medley. I want a song that's gonna get the crowd on their feet! Any suggestions? How about 'Poison' by bel biv devoe? or 'You're the one' by SWV. Let me know your suggestions!

O man. Up tempo numbers? If you're looking for the slow stuff, we have a bunch in the top ten section. However, I suck at dance-esque songs. Can any of you guys help?

The only song that gets me moving is DeBarge's Rhythm of the Night

SWV - Right Here (Human Nature Remix)
98 Degrees - Because Of You
Boyz II Men - Motownphilly
New Edition - Candy Girl
Dru Hill - How Deep Is Your Love

I know you want more old school, but I would go with R. Kelly's "Step in the name of love". A few years back, they played this at my aunt's wedding and everyone really enjoyed it.

When you mean old school, what era do you mean? cause i can come up with a good list for you.

Now do you mean:

-90s?
-early 90s/late 802 new jackswing?
-strictly 802?
-funk/soul era?
etc.

lemme know...

Regardless of the era you can make, you should make a list for the site called R&B Dance Songs or R&B Wedding Songs :).

Just saying...
