And no matter how much u guys discuss/argue certain topics, they will disagree/tear down your opinion? Drives u crazy doesnt it? Please, share.... -o yea, johnny doesnt count, cuz we'd all hav a tale to tell. lol jp
R&B Guru 2009-03-20 21:59:34 Total Posts: 2527 | Haha. Me and SonOfSoul know each other and we pretty much fight over EVERY song. It's funny how people can love the same style of music but have complete disconnect on their opinions of it.

Havok214 2009-03-21 14:42:40 Total Posts: 407 | My twin brother is into RnB just as much as I am. Sometimes we'll have conversations for like an hour about RnB lol. We have some disagreements sometimes. For instance, I think "Can You Stand The Rain" is the best song ever but he's like "Yeah its good but it aint as good as "On Bended Knee"". Stuff like that. We have our disagreements but we both agree that music has gone waaaaay downhill nowadays.

d0rk 2009-03-21 21:07:22 Total Posts: 359 | Mostly ALL my friends are like that, since I live in Hawaii, we mostly listen to hawaiian & reggae songs, but me.. i like all kinds of music, as long as it sounds good.. i give it a chance. But yannoe.. who do they go to when they want a particular r&b song.. ME! that's who! sometimes they forgot that song still brings back memories, or if that artist had that "one hit i can remember they sang"
R&B Guru 2009-03-21 21:25:05 Total Posts: 2527 | This is something that drives me nuts. Tell me if you guys have seen this happen: K-Ci & JoJo's All My Life comes on (or any other big hit). Everyone screams for you to turn it up, and they all love it, talking about how this song was the joint and how hot it is. Then another joint from 90s that wasn't a single or a hit comes on, and people are like "ugh I hate this kind of music! Turn this off." Like what? What kind of music is it that you hate if you were just all over that other R&B song from the same period? People just drive me nuts like this. If it's not a radio hit in R&B, they won't give it a chance. A friend of mine was all over "So Sick" by Ne-Yo, and then tells me "This song is different. It's not like OTHER R&B so I can like it."
junebug18 2009-03-22 00:02:08 Total Posts: 540 | LOL. Guru your so right. Its either that or they hear K-Ci and Jojo's "all my life" and say "Oh i love this song, K-Ci & Jojo were my favorites"....but yet they cant name more than 5 K-Ci and Jojo songs, or wouldn't know that K-Ci & Jojo were apart of Jodeci. SMH... I remember I was playing some R. Kelly one day and "I Believe I Can Fly" came on and this girl was LOVING IT, then R. Kelly's "Home Alone" came on and she said "I dont like this song, I wanna hear an R. Kelly song instead" LOL.
d0rk 2009-03-22 01:05:12 Total Posts: 359 | I remember when Lollipop was big last year, that's when several of my friends started to take notice of Static Major. I'm here, telling them, that he was in Playa, and they go.. what? he was in a group? (I admit, when I first heard of Playa back in '98 or so, I had no idea Static was in the group) And they all trip, when I tell them he wrote songs like "Are You That Somebody" as well as several other Aaliyah songs, "Pony", and others, I can't seem to remember.. but yeah u get my drift. It's sad to know that it took a top hip hop artist to get him noticed by people who love the mainstream music now. I hate when that happens.

Sonofsoul 2009-03-23 09:06:55 Total Posts: 212 | He lies...Guru and I don't fight about EVERYTHING. Our biggest disagreements come because he is a lot more eclectic than I am. I am open to the whole genre, but I always come back to the few artists that I like. Also, he doesn't like anything up tempo so I bash him for that =-P...they can't all be slow love songs
junebug18 2009-03-23 11:37:09 Total Posts: 540 | What bunky1787??? How the fuck do you put in a Luther "Greatest Hits" album skip through everything and then eject it? You shoulda threw her out the car. That's just wrong. LOL.
