The problem with artists like Janet and Beyonce is that they rely heavily on the glitz and wow factor of their performances. Since the actual music is a minimal part of the interest in them, their concerts need to be such grandeur events and so, require greater attendance to do well. I expect her to have some trouble here. Almost no one is worth even $50 to see live to me. Save for a couple like Mint Condition or someone along those lines. So true, their names give them insane prices. As Keith Mitchell in After 7 mentioned. You're mostly just hearing artists sing so honestly, is it that different than listening to their album? And I always go see Prince but that's cause he gives a great show and he always go over on his show and tells you where he will be playing the after party he's just a cool dude and he is in it for the music.
