I know I've mentioned him in a few other threads, but I love him and I was just flipping through my itunes library some more and my favourite song from his new album just came om!!

check out his new album, "the point of it all." it's good stuff!! I own all his albums in hard copy except for XTC and comin' where I'm from. I think Comin' from where I'm from will be easy to get, but XTC is a lost cause. if anyone knows where to find it you'll be my favourite!!!

I think his voice is one of the most soulful male voices of this generation and he just has this way of telling a story that pulls me in. Even if he's talkin' about how he did his girl wrong, he makes me wanna at least hear out his side.

I bought his album "soulife" on one track "I cried." that song is worth the price of the CD and more. so honest. I feel his pain. In today's world of prefabricated packaged artists who are just in it for the money, it's so refreshing to find somebody I can feel. and he seems to put out an album a year. I like that. keepin' current.

dude has consistently made great music but gets no reognition. he's what d'angelo should be.

I think it is pretty overrated. I like him a little more now than I did say a few months ago though. Very soulful voice, but it always seems like hes always trying too hard to be profound.

Don't get on the bandwagon now Johnny keep hating. LOL

I like Anthony. I dont think he's bad at all. My favorite song from him is "I Tried"

One of may favorite solo male R&B artist in the past ten years.

He has no weak albums (all 3 are above 4 mics) and his two compilation albums are also great as well. I also have all his stuff except his out of print xtc album from 1996.

The Point Of It All = best male solo album of '08, after Raphael's "The Way I See It". Dude been making REAL making and is still able to sell records without selling out or making bullsh1t joints like Usher for example.

Its funny because someone yesterday asked who is better, "Anthony or John Legend?". I couldn't stop laughing. LOL. John Legend? Now thats what you call trash!

Honestly, I like Anthony. Him and Lyfe give me the impression of the major players in the soulful music today. However, Lyfe seems to try so hard to be soulful whereas it seems to come naturally to Anthony.

Charlene is an awesome track.
