Well on April 30th 1991 Elektra released "So Intense" by Lisa Fischer. The album was hot and she picked up a grammy. If you're a big fan of Luther you should know about her since she was a long time background singer until he died. If you don't have it already pick it up and take a listen and let me know what you think. She has one of the greatest voices in R&B. Don't where she is now, but her vocals on "How Can I Ease The Pain" were insane. Never really checked for anything else from her after that 1st album though. My dad had brought the CD because he likes Luther Vandross, but he ended up letting me have the CD. Anyways, "how can I ease the pain" was a great song and great vocals. Not sure what happend to her? I just thought about something a while back JET magazine did do an article about her. They have a section called "what ever happend to these artists". I forgot what issue that came out in and I kind of forgot what was said about her. Yeah I remember her I have that CD here in my CD collection.
