I buy each of his albums cause he has a tight single, and then the album will have 2, maybe 3 other good tracks. It annoys me so much because I feel like Avant has such potential. With your choices, Toni's track takes it all the way as it's just a golden number. I love that track and she just rips it apart. Boyz II Men is better vocally and have much better albums as far as I am concerned. The only thing New Edition has on them is that they really paved the way for that whole genre and made male singing groups popular again. New Edition may have been pioneers, but Boyz II Men destroys them. | |||

As for Avant, he does have so much potential but always underachieves.... with weak albums. his singles (separated, 4 minutes, making good love, dont say no, read ur mind etc.) are always great, but the album is always filled with filler material. I was around 6 or so when it did come out and I remember having my mom buy me II lol. I want to go with "On Bended Knee" based on pure nostalgia and sentiment, but "Anniversary" is so great.
