Eh, I was never a huge Destiny's Child fan. I did own "Writing's On the Wall" though...the last and only one I owned (Lord knows where it is now). Though I enjoyed that CD (they did a song w/ Next, "If You Leave"...love that song and should've been a single), they're a little to "club" driven for me. They did do an awesome rendition of the national anthem in the NBA all-star game in houston a few years back...you tube it.

So in all, I'm not excited and won't buy the album. As for their solo careers, Beyonce is the only one I like...not a knock on the others

Soul, I hear you on that one and honestly, I think most guys will be in the same category. No matter how good or bad Destiny's Child music was, it was very emphatic on girl power. Bills, Bills, Bills, Bugaboo, Survivor. Those aren't really jams a guy would be blasting in his car as he drives along.

What I thought was so interesting is that the girls seemed to shed some of these feelings with their last cd, Destiny Fulfilled. Cater 2 U sent a very different message than those early hits. Which message do you think the girls will keep with their latest work?

You've got an interesting point there Buttaflyy. Can anyone really identify a girl group that's reunited and put something out? I know EnVogue is working on it now too, but I haven't seen any results yet. Do you think the girl groups fail in comebacks because of drama or just inability to reconnect on what made them great?

I'm heading to bed but I wanted to comment on that before I went. I think it's pretty safe to say you won't be buying their album if it's on that condition. I know if I was Letoya, I'd be fuming after the way her and LaTavia Roberson were treated. Those girls had been in the group for so long and helped build it up. Only to one day just be replaced like there was nothing to it. Like hell I'd be willing to join up again after that :).

He's been in contact with her a couple times since then and I've considered doing a phone interview with her but just haven't ever motivated myself to do it.

Well....There Is NO Truth For A "Reunion" Album Including ALL The Past Members Of Destiny's Child....However There Is One More Album For The Group (Beyonce', Michelle, & Kelly) Have To Fulfill Due To Their Contract With Columbia Records, But That Album Will Be Done No Time Soon....

Honestly, it's hard to imagine the girls doing anything together again. While Kelly and Michelle are getting their own two feet, I just worry Beyonce's time in the spotlight will make her even more of a force to be reckoned with as a group.

First off just because they have one album left on their contract with Columbia doesn't mean their will be another album. It just means they can't sign with someone else before meeting their contract with Columbia. Michelle and Kelly have showed in the media that they have been burned by Matthew just like the other girls so trust me when I tell you their won't be another Destiny Child's album. Beyonce don't need it. So it won't get done, because it's her who doesn't want it. That label is making money hand over fist with Beyonce being solo they could care less about a Destiny Child's last album.

I would buy the album if LeToya and LaTavia were back in the group with Beyonce and Kelly. I like them better together than the DC3.
