I guess we can't really blame them seeing as the state of the game is different now than it is then. Most of these people are performing for producers and writers who only want to make big club bangers. I suppose we can't hold the fact that they perform now against them and still be fair. It would be like the baseball HOF holding the fact that Jim Rice didn't have a lot of career Homeruns against him for so long. This is even though he dominated in his era, which is an era where 35 homers was a TON. So I guess there will be a few who will be considered classic based on the era where they are from. | |||
