I'm guessing this a male R&B group (or maybe one singer?) Nevertheless, the name of the song, I believe, is "Tell Me", it's a mid-tempo song, and here are some of the lyrics... I'll try my best to outline the lyrics but it was a real hit back then. It starts off with a siren-like sound similar to the one old telephones use to give off when they are not placed in the hub properly.
