This is SO sad...I looked up to Shake because he really wanted to help mentor young kids trying to work their way up in the game. Its so sad, I read a rumor that he may have done it because of his ties with BMF which is even more unfortunate, hopefully its not true.


lpc, Shakir Stewart was the Executive Vice President of Def Jam, he was promoted in June after Jay left the spot in December. Here's an article on him, everyone should know who he is, his influence was so wide:

He was a good man indeed with his work with the kids. It would be nice if his music work was as good.
