gloomypoet 2008-11-02 23:18:04 Total Posts: 48	Hello Guys We all know that lyrics can make or break a song or do both in one song take the song All the Things by Joe, if only he had stopped before adding the nonsense at the end it would have been a huge balad but it seems that a minor lyrical mistake can snap a great song, anyway i would love to have your opinions on who's the best lyricist in RnB, and what are the best lyrics to you. The song is real mainstream but it has some great lines. For instance: "Gotta change my answering machine Now that I'm alone Cause right now it says that we Can't come to the phone And I know it makes no sense Cause you walked out the door But it's the only way I hear your voice anymore" and "Gotta fix that calendar I have That's marked July 15th Because since there's no more you There's no more anniversary" I really like 112's Your Letter. I gotta disagree with you gloomy on 4 minutes though. I feel like the song is awesome and it's premise is great, but Avant doesn't do lyrically what he could with it.
