What past R & B groups members would you love to see have a solo CD? For instance, like Beyonce, Kelly, Michelle, and Letoya for Destiny's Child have one or Omarion of B2k have a solo CD.

I pick....

T-Boz of TLC

The twins in Jagged Edge- I think they would fit in perfect with today's R & B music.

Shawn stockman of Boyz II Men- Why not? He already did a few songs for different movie soundtracks so a Solo CD would be just fine.

LaTocha Scott of Xscape- wonderful voice and I would love to see her come out with a CD

Bryan Abrams of Color Me Badd- I think he would also fit in perfect with today's R & B or pop music.

Jazz of Dru Hill- It's time for him to come out with one...so far Sisqo had one, Woody and supposedly Nokio.

Supposedly, Shawn, Wanya and Jazz(of Dru Hill) all recorded enough material to drop solos but for whatever reason...they didnt drop. I'd love to hear all this unreleased material.

I dont think any of them have the chops to make it as a solo artist.

I download some of Wayna's solo stuff he has one song titled "Official" that I like. Shawn had "love again" and "visions of a sunset" the latter is an alright track. Nate also has a solo song titled "wishes" which is awesome and you guys can check it out on youtube.

Wanya released a solo album in 2000 called "Milenium Renaissance" that flopped horribly. Then 2 years ago he released the mixtape that had "Official" on it, but I didn't really like the cd as a whole. Shawn would be my first choice for him to go solo from that group.

Speaking of, I know Slim from 112 has a solo album coming out called Loves Crazy, I got to hear some of it a few weeks ago, its pretty good!

I'd like to see the twins from Jagged Edge go solo as well, and I wouldn't mind seeing RL from Next do his thing either.

RL does have a solo album. It's titled RL: ements. i listened through it a few times and really wasn't feeling it, but it's worth a listen.

I don't really listen to too many "groups" so I have no one that I want to hear go solo. Beyonce would be at the top of my list...if she hadn't already gone solo

I wasn't aware that Wanya had released a solo LP in 2000. I don't remember that song "official" by Wanya either. I can't believe I missed that CD. The only song I know that Jazz of Dru Hill did was the song from Nutty Professor Soundtrack called "here with me". I have about 4 to 5 songs of songs that Shawn stockman did off of different movie soundtracks.

I remember R.L solo album, I might see if I can get it off of amazon.com.

Wanya's solo lp isn't really a solo LP but more of a "Wanya Presents" album.

Shawn Stockman has done a TON of solo stuff (probably 8 or 9 tracks). My favorites are probably Condition of My Heart and Visions of a Sunset, probably Stand as well. If anyone's interested, email me and I can see if I can send you some of his tracks.

Daron Jones & Q of 112, has several songs out. RL, has a lot of new songs out the past couple months. Former Dru Hill member Scola did a song with a girl around '07-early '08, I have to look at my files for it. Pleasure P of Pretty Ricky is doing his thing, the song "I Did You Wrong" ain't that bad.

Doode, everytime someone mentions Shawn Stockman, I always wished he did a full version for "Love Again" =/

Got me excited though... thought it was the same Love Again as Sam Salter's but alas it's not.

Hahaha yep. Those two songs and I think "You Are" are really the only songs of his I've listened to and really liked. The rest is up and down. But I wish the "Little Black Book" album had been released. I love the concept and between Love Again and Color of Love, it was a pretty good album. I used to have the whole thing, not sure how much I have now.

All of these guys should just stick to being in the groups they are in. None of them have released anything that was better than decent and I doubt they ever will.

If it ain't broke don't fix it right?

Co-sign^^^^...I'd wouldn't want to hear any solo from an artist that is already great in a group. Releasing solo work always tears the group apart.
