Kanye West is not a scumbag, he is a talented rapper who dared to be different and it worked. While every rapper out there is talking about whores, money, rims, and cars trying to be gangster, Kanye is changing the game with his awesome beats and word play along with his tight jeans.

Its funny you like Nas because he is one of the only rappers I like but the answer too your question is I don't like hip hop. I like some of the old stuff but thats it. R&B is my baby and I will love her until the end of time the good and the bad I love it, sorry.
I don't like when a artist use their fame to get in the music biz, so I don't like artist like Cynda Williams, Tisha Campbell, and Jasmine Guy, when they did their albums it just seemed hald ass to me. You have to give your all and work your entire life to make really good music. Oh and I don't like guys like Danny Boy.
