-After 7's "Baby I'm For Real" is arguably the best remake of the 90's.
-Shai is very overrated.
-Johnny Gill is probably the best overall male vocalist of '90's era' artists.
-Jesse Powell's song "You" is garbage.
-Tevin Cambpell is wack.
-Keith Washington's debut 1991 album is one of the best R&B albums of the early 90's.
-Silk's 3rd album "Tonight" >>> Boyz II Men's 3rd album "Evolution"
-Besides "X's We Share" & "Won't Waste You", the rest of Jodeci's uptempo songs on their first 2 albums were all weak.
...I will think of more later. You can laugh, argue, disagree etc. whatever, just list your own personal uncommon R&B opinions, cause we will all disagree,and maybe even agree on a few points.

June... get out! Shai is NOT overrated. In fact, I'm going to come in here and say Shai is underrated.
Likewise on Tevin Campbell, I'm going to stand against you. Tevin Campbell was great on I'm Ready and showed he could handle puberty with the album Tevin Campbell. He might have got weird in his personal life but he's still phenomenal as a singer.
Johnny I'm more along your thoughts and going to have to go against June AGAIN. Jodeci got way too much credit and while K-Ci & JoJo weren't impressive, they certainly were no worse off than as a group.
Aaliyah's pretty weak and I'll agree on Usher. I thought 8701 was far from classic. It had a few hit tracks but otherwise, was meh.
Soul, I'll give you most of yours since you've helped me see the light on a lot of them.
And I'll join on the TLC hate train. They've had some GREAT tracks (I L-O-V-E Red Light Special) but I think T-Boz had a painfully annoying voice.
I'm going to put one in and say most of the Neo-Soul movement is awful. Each of the artists had a few solid tracks but most of it is bland and not worth the listen.
Unlike like you guys my momma taught me that if I got nothing nice to say don't say anything at all. But I will say this, all of you all are supposed to love music good or bad. Everyone can't be great thats just the way of the world. But despite that it's all weather you like it or not. There's an artist with music for everybody. Your opinions are nothing more than hateing and I don't hate. Never have and never will. junebug and johnny stop with your hateing it's not good no matter how you put it. And stop trying to get music lovers to help you with your foolishness get a life and start loving music. If there is something you don't like to listen to then find something you do like. There's enough music for everybody.
